About Powis Printed Hardcover
It is possible to produce customized hard covers without messy glues, or heavy, expensive equipment. Powis printed hardcover comes with the adhesive already applied, so you never have to worry about messy glue application, leakage, glue build-up, or cleaning. Powis has done the complicated par t of book assembly for you, so all you have to do is bind your printed contents and assemble the book using our hardcover guide. Best of all the finished covers are designed to work with all the Fastback® binding systems, including the Studio™ Binding System, Production WorkCell™, PhotoPress™ Binding System and Fastback® 15xs.

Green Binding
Powis paper based binding has a low environmental impact versus plastic comb and coil binding. Papers bound with Fastback bindings are fully recyclable — same as for magazines and paperback books.
Environmental Concerns
Consideration for the environment and environmental issues has been a major focus at Powis Parker throughout our history. As we developed our document finishing systems, we worked to ensure that, whenever possible, the components that went into the equipment and the ingredients of our finished products were environmentally friendly.
Paper Based Binding – Recyclable
Unlike plastic comb and coil binding, Powis binding is paper based and has a low environmental impact. Most Powis bound documents can be recycled at any place you would recycle your magazines and newspapers. Fur ther, we are pressing our suppliers to use paper manufacturing processes that employ the latest technology with the least adverse environmental impact.
